John's love of computers and gadgets led him to gain a BSc in artificial intelligence and computer science where he now gets paid to play with computers all day long.

I’ve always enjoyed spending time with computers and new gadgets which meant a job working with computers was an easy choice. |
| How did you get to where you are now? |
After school I completed a BSc in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science from Edinburgh University then spent a few years working computer games companies then joined Lifescan Scotland.

Finding out what new technology is out there and how it can be used to benefit people. |

I am still new to STEM but so far have been helping pupils and teachers with the use of Smartboards, creating their own website and incorporating photos and video. |
